Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla falsely claimed that the UniTeam rally in Gen. Trias Sports Complex drew 100,000 inside the venue and 40,000 outside. However, a crowd estimating website computed the maximum crowd capacity inside the sports complex at about 75,000
Governor Jonvic Remulla said in his Facebook post that all cemeteries in the province will be open during the said period, starting from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cemeteries would be closed from October 28 to November 2.
“I am very happy to announce that the Province of Cavite is about to embark in a massive rollout of a FREE WiFi system that shall cover (up to 90%) of the residential areas,” Remulla wrote in a Facebook post.
With the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill expected to reach President Rodrigo Duterte’s desk on Tuesday, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla on Sunday said the government should focus on “bigger problems” and hear citizens’ pleas, instead of ruling with an iron fist.
After closing malls due to physical distancing violations last May 18, Cavite City Gov. Jonvic Remulla announced that malls will reopen today, May 20.
