Some 150 bus units were deployed Wednesday under the interim operations of the EDSA Busway.
Four new public utility bus routes opened Monday: Buendia (Gil Puyat Avenue) to Bonifacio Global City, Gilmore to Taytay, Monumento to Valenzuela Gateway Complex and Monumento to San Jose del Monte.
The government will open three additional city bus routes on Friday to bring to 31 the rationalized bus routes in Metro Manila, which is now under general community quarantine (GCQ).
The DOTr said 56 bus units started operations Tuesday morning at North Avenue Station in Quezon City while 30 units originated from Taft Avenue Station in Pasay.
