Citing a Department of Health (DOH) circular, Roque said attending online masses, celebrating Noche Buena and Media Noche at home and online shopping were activities considered “safe” amid the holidays.
Roque said the IATF had yet to tackle the proposed measure but assured it would be discussed in future IATF meetings.
“Kung tayo po’y buhay, iyan ay enough reason para magkaroon tayo ng Merry Christmas sa panahon ng pandemya,” Roque said.
Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte is planning to build the first-ever Disneyland-themed Christmas village for its “Paskong Tomasino: Malipayon ug Malinawon” festivities which will run from Dec. 6 to 31, 2019.
