“Bilang mga disiplinado at responsableng mga magulang at mamamayan, tulungan natin ang ating mga estudyante na mabigyan ng tahimik at payapa na kapaligiran para sila ay makapag-aral ng mabuti sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan,” Año said.
In a press release, the DILG said 10,136 new contact tracers have been hired nationwide.
Under the DILG guidelines, the contact tracers will be paid at least P18,784 monthly in a contract of service status.
“We urge the critics to study the issue first before they make baseless allegations against worthwhile government projects. We welcome any investigation into this project whether in the courts of justice or in the court of public opinion. All this criticism is misplaced,” Interior Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said.
