Sa isang panayam sa Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) ni evangelist Apollo Quiboloy, sinabi ni Anna Malindog-Uy na hindi biktima ng “fake news” si Vice President Leni Robredo.
“Laging sinasabi, like for example ni Vice President Leni Robredo, na biktima siya ng fake news. I don’t think gano’n,” the professor said at the 15:38 minute mark of the interview.
Nagpahayag si Malindog-Uy ng kanyang opinyon, ngunit mali ang bahaging sinabi niya na si Robredo ay hindi biktima ng fake news.
Iniulat ng Vera Files, ang third-party fact-checker ng Meta (dating Facebook), noong 2021 na si Robredo ang pinaka-target na paksa ng disinformation.
Sa 120 na content na may kaugnayan sa disinformation sa halalan na na-flag ng Vera Files noong taong iyon, 28 ay laban kay Robredo.
Sumunod sa kanya si Sen. Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao.
Si Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., nag-iisang anak ng dating diktador Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., ay higit na nakinabang mula sa “fake news” kung saan 52 sa 120 na flag na mga post ay nagsusulong sa kanya o nagbaluktot ng mga katotohanan tungkol pamilya Marcos.
Ang disinformation laban kay Robredo ay puspusan na habang nangangampanya siya para sa pagkapangulo laban sa kanyang karibal sa pulitika, si Marcos Jr.
