The post used photos showing Sen. Imee Marcos distributing relief goods and “nutribuns.”
However, the photos of Marcos distributing nutribuns and vegetables were originally posted on Oct. 4, 2022, after Typhoon “Karding,” not after Severe Tropical Storm “Paeng,” which hit Gapan, Nueva Ecija. The original photos are available on the Facebook page of Vice Gov. Emmanuel Antonio “Doc Anthony” Matias Umali.
The close-up photos of groceries were relief goods, not for typhoon victims, but for Gapan City residents who were quarantined after testing positive for Covid-19.
One photo was taken from the post of a private citizen. She posted the photo on Aug. 3, 2021.
The other photo came from the Facebook Page of former Gapan mayor and now Rep. Emeng Pascual. It was posted on Aug. 30, 2021.
