The University of the Philippines (UP) announced that its college admission test will be back on June 3 and 4 after being postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) will happen in more than 100 test centers nationwide.

The UPCAT application period will start in the first week of March.

“All applications are to be done online and applicants need to encode their grades for Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the UPCAT online portal,” the university said in a statement shared on Wednesday.

“Though applicants may still be in Grade 11 when they apply, exam takers will encode their grades online only in September 2023 when Grade 11 grades are final and complete,” it added.

The university said it shall ask hard copies of the applicants’ official grades from their school to be used for “verification purposes” of the Office of Admissions in September.
