The animated film “The Mitchells vs. The Machines” will premiere on Netflix on April 30, Netflix announced Thursday.
The animated film will feature the voices of Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Mike Rianda, Eric Andre, Olivia Colman, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Charlyne Yi, Blake Griffin, Conan O’Brien, Doug the Pug, Sasheer Zamata, Elle Mills, Alex Hirsch, and Jay Pharoah.
The animated action-comedy movie will revolve around an ordinary family (The Mitchells), who find themselves in the middle of their biggest family challenge: saving the world from the robot apocalypse.
“The Mitchells vs. The Machines” was directed by Mike Rianda, and produced by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Kurt Albrecht — the creators of the Academy Award-winning movie, “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” and “The LEGO Movie.” Jade Veronque V. Yap
