The Supreme Court ordered the closure of several courts in the Philippines starting Friday, January 28 until Tuesday, February 15, due to the continuing onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The high tribunal issued a circular ordering all courts in the following areas to be closed physically:
- Region 4-B: Palawan
- Region I0: Camiguin
- Region 11: Davao Occidental
- Caraga: Dinagat Islands
- BARMM: Tawi-Tawi, Sulu
The said six areas were placed under Alert Level 3 until February 15.
