The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that licensure examinations originally scheduled in June, July and August 2020 will be rescheduled to 2021.

PRC, in its website, cited the continuous threat of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, which has infected more than 34,000 Filipinos.

The following licensure examinations will be moved to 2021:

Environmental Planners
Guidance Counselors
Interior Designers
Landscape Architects
Mining Engineers
Nutritionists-Dietitians
Psychologists
Psychometricians
Social Workers
Veterinarians
Master Plumbers
Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics
Medical Technologists
Occupational Therapists
Physical Therapists
Sanitary Engineers

The National Police Commission entrance and promotional examinations for the Philippine National Police, slated last April, has yet to be rescheduled.

The June 2020 licensure examinations for criminologists and architects and July 2020 licensure examinations for radiologic and x-ray technologists and real estate brokers were not included in the list.

PRC said it will post the new dates for the postponed examinations in its social media accounts and official website, once finalized. (John Ezekiel Hirro)
