The Philippines registered 4,634 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) infections from June 20 to 26, 2022, the Department of Health (DOH) said.

The current tally was 53% higher compared to the infections logged from June 13 to 19 with 3,051 infections. 

The daily average case for the week was 662, also higher than the 436 daily average case the previous week. 

There are 591 severe and critical Covid-19 infections undergoing medical treatment in hospitals. 

The country has vaccinated a total of 70,358,612 people or 78.17% of the government’s target population. Among the said number, 323,341 were vaccinated from June 20 to 26.
