Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson on Monday confirmed that the province has 47 cholera cases. 

Among the said number, 43 of them came from the province’s  third district, while the remaining four came from the second district. 

Talisay City posted 20 cases; followed by Silay City with 15 cases with one fatality; and EB Magalona town with six cases and one death in the third district.

Meanwhile, Victorias City has two  cases while Cadiz City and Manapla town reported one case each.

Bacolod City also reported 21 cases from September 1 to November 12.
