Pikit, North Cotabato – A team of local and regional police force impounded more than 100 motorcycles and tricycles for various traffic violations in this town.
The “Oplan Lambat” operations of the joint the Pikit Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12, Traffic Management Unit- Pikit and the Highway Patrol netted 90 motorcycles and 60 tricycles which are now impounded at the Pikit Municipal Police station.
The Pikit PNP said the common traffic violations were missing Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration and driving without a license.
The PNP said the campaign was launched to address the rising theft of motorcycles in the area. (Rommel F. Lopez)
