Maynilad Water Services (Maynilad) announced water service interruptions from Nov. 28 to Dec. 2, 2020 in some areas in Metro Manila.
According to Maynilad, the interruption is due to the urgent maintenance work needed to accomplish at the Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2 in Muntinlupa City.
“Kinakailangan naming i-shutdown nang pansamantala ang aming Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2 sa Muntinlupa,” the company said in a post on Twitter.
“Ito ay magbibigay-daan sa urgent maintenance works na dapat isagawa agad para maibalik sa normal ang water production ng nasabing pasilidad na lubhang naapektuhan ng prolonged high turbidity sa tubig ng Laguna Lake,” it added.

The water service interruption will affect residents in the cities of Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay in Metro Manila, as well as Bacoor and Imus in Cavite.
