As the free ride program ended, the 20% discount for students has already resumed in Light Rail Transit-Line 2 (LRT2), Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) administrator Hernando Cabrera said during a public briefing.
Cabrera said that there was no confusion on the part of students when the LRT2 decided to resume the discounts on Nov. 6, Sunday.
“Early on, inanunsyo na talaga natin after November 5 matatapos na yung Libreng Sakay and by November 6 ang talagang i-implement natin ay yung 20% discount,” he said.
Students must present their actual school ID or registration form to avail of the student discounts, Cabrera said.
