Voter registration for local and overseas applicants will resume on December 9, 2022 until January 31, 2023, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said.

Comelec spokesperson Rex Laudiangco said qualified citizens may submit their documentary requirements and have their biometrics data captured at the Office of the Election Officer (OEO) or at any satellite registration site near their residence.

Applicants must also bring and submit competent proof of identity as may be allowed by the Comelec or the appropriate affidavit of identification sworn under law.

Overseas workers who would want to vote in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls must transfer their registration record from overseas to local until January 31.

Meanwhile, the polling body will implement pilot tests of the Register Anywhere Project in five select malls in Metro Manila.

It will happen every Saturday and Sunday from December 10, 2022 until January 29, 2023 except for the following dates: December 24, 25, 31, and January 1, 2023.
