Senator and presidential aspirant Panfilo Lacson invited fellow presidential candidate Senator Manny Pacquiao and his running mate Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza to attend his rally in Quezon City.
Lacson said that he is okay with having Senate President Vicente Sotto III as his and Pacquaio’s common vice presidential candidate.
“Ako naman willing ako i-share na si Senate president as common candidate. Mag-attend na sila sa rally mamaya,” Lacson said during the Pandesal Forum in Quezon City.
“I’m willing na, gusto niyo magkasama pa kaming tatlo sa stage pagmagra-rally eh, pareho namin tinataas ang kamay ni Senate president,” he added.
The senator said he is inviting Atienza to formally withdraw from the vice presidential race.
“Iniimbita namin, kung maari doon na niya ipahayag ni Mayor Lito na nagwi-withdraw siya,” Lacson said. — Ronald Espartinez
