A 6.1 magnitude quake rocked Sarangani, Davao Occidental, Saturday afternoon.
The Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake was located at 148 km southwest of Sarangani. It struck at a depth of 314 kilometers at 5:30 PM.
The state quake agency said aftershocks are expected.
Intensity III was recorded at General Santos City while Intensity II was recorded Monkayo, Davao de Oro. – Rommel F. Lopez
