The country’s biggest stars from various TV networks have teamed up to recognize the heroic efforts of health workers who are continuously fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic through a special tribute video.

The video was posted by the League of Filipino Actors (AKTOR) where Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Angel Locsin, Gabbi Garcia, Iza Calzado and other stars appeared in a series of clips with various messages recognizing the hard work of frontliners.

Piolo Pascual, Anne Curtis, Agot Isidro, Angel Aquino, Angelica Panganiban, Janine Gutierrez, Sunshine Dizon, Chynna Ortaleza, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos were among the stars who sent their gratitude to the health workers.

Together, they uplifted this country’s “bayanis” to fight, hang on, and reminded them that the world would owe them for a better tomorrow.

Maraming salamat.”
AKTOR stars also remembered medical frontliners who died due to Covid-19, including more than 40 doctors and thousands of other health professionals who also got sick while fighting the virus.

The video flawlessly ended with an inspirational message that read: “Pinapalakpakan ng AKTOR ang buhay at paglilingkod ng ating mga frontliners at health workers.”

AKTOR’s tribute video came days after President Rodrigo Duterte ranted on national television against health professionals for calling for stricter quarantine protocols. RJ Espartinez
