A magnitude 5.9 quake rocked Bukidnon Monday night.

The Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s epicenter was located at 9 km northwest of of Kadingilan town in Bukidnon.  It struck at a depth of 8 km at 10:38 PM.  It was tectonic in origin.

Intensity V was felt at Kadingilan, Bukidnon. Instrumental Intensity III was recorded in Cagayan De Oro City and Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental and Kidapawan City, Cotabato while Instrumental Intensity II was recorded at Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
