Blackpink’s main dancer and rapper, Lisa, is set for her solo debut this summer.
Twitter exploded last night as fans of Lisa, also known as “Blinks,” are excited about her upcoming solo debut. Korean entertainment group, Blackpink’s agency YG Entertainment recently confirmed that the group’s “Maknae” will be making her solo debut this summer, and that she is already preparing to shoot the music video of the song.
“LISA SOLO SOON” trended on Twitter with fans expressing their support for their Korean idol.
After the release of the group’s first full-length album entitled ‘THE ALBUM,’ YG Entertainment revealed that Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo will also make their own solo debut.
Lisa will be the third member who will release a solo after Rosé’s debut single album “R” last March. Jennie was the first band member to produce her first solo in 2018 with “SOLO” which has now over 688 million views on YouTube.
Blackpink is also set to celebrate their fifth anniversary with the “4+1 PROJECT” with a film entitled “BLACKPINK: The Movie” as their gift to their hordes of loyal Blinks. Earlier this week, they also released a Japanese version of “THE ALBUM.” Ronald Espartinez
