Angel Locsin’s sister was accused once again of being a member of the New People’s Army (NPA), according to a self-confessed former NPA member.

“General Parlade is not lying. Ella Colmenares, the sister of Angel Locsin was an NPA in Quezon. Na-meet ko siya,” Jeffrey Celis, aka Ka Eric revealed in the Senate hearing on the alleged red-tagging activities of military officials.

Colmenares had already denied Armed Forces of the Philippines Southern Luzon Command chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr.’s claims she is a part of the NPA. However, she insisted that she is supportive only of women’s rights.

Earlier, Angel Locsin was also tagged as an alleged member of the NPA by Parlade but she broke her silence and debunked the allegations.

“To set the record straight, hindi po ako parte ng NPA or any terrorist group. Neither my sister nor my kuya Neri is a part of the NPA or any terrorist group,” Locsin posted on Instagram.

Locsin was referring to lawyer and former Bayan Muna representative Neri Colmenares, who is her nephew.

Malaking tulong rin po for purchasing vaccines or other covid response programs. Many of our country men need financial assistance. RJ Espartinez
