World Vision Philippines will hold its second virtual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Summit in Cebu City via livestream on the group’s Facebook page on March 23, 2021.
The summit will focus on how various sectors are aiding recovery in Cebu one year into the coronavirus pandemic.
Cebu City had the highest Covid-19 cases in May last year but flattened the curve in August, according to the University of the Philippines-OCTA research team.
Cebu Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Golden Prince Hotel & Suites, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., Rotary Club of Cebu, and the Singapore School Cebu will join the summit.
In October 2020, World Vision held the first virtual CSR summit with the theme “Doing Good is Good Business,” focusing on business leaders’ adjustments during the first months of the pandemic and how CSR is more crucial than ever.
