Streaming giant Netflix confirmed on Thursday that top Korean star Ji Chang Wook (Lovestruck in the City), rising star Hwang In Yeop (True Beauty) and rookie actress Choi Seung Eun (Start-Up) will join the cast of the new Netflix K-drama “The Sound of Magic.”
The drama tells the story of a girl (Choi Sung Eun) who lost her dream of becoming a magician. She meets a mysterious magician (Ji Chang Wook) and gradually starts to want to realize her dream.
“The Sound of Magic” is based on the popular webtoon “Annarasumanara.”
It will be produced by JTBC and Zium Content and will be directed by Kim Sung-youn, creator of “Itaewon Class.”
