The Philippines now has over 150 million Covid-19 vaccine jabs with the recent arrivals of Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine doses.

More than 3.6 million Moderna and AstraZeneca jabs arrived on Friday.

Delivered in separate batches, the 3,646,600 vaccine doses consisted of 2,948,000 Moderna doses and 698,600 AstraZeneca jabs.

On Thursday, the country received 255,200 private sector-procured AstraZeneca jabs and 1,082,250 Pfizer doses.

The deliveries brought the country’s vaccine total to 154,053,670 jabs.

The National Task Force Against Covid-19 said the vaccines would be used during the second phase of the country’s national vaccination drive scheduled for Dec. 15 to 17.

The Philippines has administered over 94.2 million Covid-19 vaccine doses, with nearly 40 million fully vaccinated individuals as of Dec. 8. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
