US-based business process outsourcing (BPO) company Afni, Inc. plans to open a third site this year, to be spearheaded by a new vice president for Philippine operations.
In a statement, Afni said newly appointed vice president Khalid Khursheed will “drive Afni’s expansion efforts, which include the opening of a third site later in 2020.”
Khursheed, who took over operational oversight and performance of Afni programs in the Philippines, was executive director of Philippine operations and “helped establish, grow, and evolve company operations in Quezon City.”
Kathy Poley, senior vice president of global operations, said Khursheed would be “an essential member of our leadership team as we continue to strengthen and expand operations in the Philippines.”
Ken Hahn, who had served Afni as vice president of Philippines operations, will assume the role of product owner for Afni’s Contact Center Solutions (CCS) globally.
Afni, whose history dates back to 1936, has clients in insurance, telecommunications, satellite and cable, financial services, technology, and healthcare. (PressONE.ph)
