Unilab Inc., one of the country’s pharmaceutical giants, apologized to its customers because of the temporary shortage of some of its products in selected drugstores due to “extraordinary demand.”
“This is to inform the public that some of our brands are temporarily out of stock in select drugstores due to extraordinary demand,” it said in a statement.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused,” Unilab added.
The pharmaceutical giant said that they will replenish their stocks soon.
“We assure you that we are working with our partner drugstores and retailers to accelerate replenishment at the soonest possible time,” it said.
Unilab’s known products are Bioflu, Neozep, and Biogesic, and many more.
Meanwhile, the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP) also confirmed that there is a temporary shortage of certain paracetamol products.
