The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced on Thursday that a tropical depression has already entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

“Gener,” entered PAR at 4 a.m Thursday and was seen hovering northeast of extreme Northern Luzon. It is the seventh tropical cyclone that entered the country this year.

Thunderstorms are more likely to develop over the National Capital Region within 12 hours. PAGASA advised continuous monitoring for updates.
