Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Thursday called on Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo to announce her plans for the 2022 national elections as more candidates have declared their presidential bids.
In a statement, Trillanes said Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso were not legitimate opposition candidates.
Trillanes said he and his Magdalo group would be fully supportive of Robredo if she ran for president, and nudged the vice president to announce her plans at the soonest.
So far, Pacquiao, Domagoso and Sen. Panfilo Lacson have declared their presidential bids. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
