Typhoon Tisoy

Typhoon Tisoy’s southern eyewall is expected to pummel Sorsogon, Albay, Catanduanes, and Camarines Sur provinces within the next three hours as it also brings heavy rains and winds in Northern Samar, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its 5 p.m.Monday bulletin, the center of Tisoy was last spotted 155 km East of Juban, Sorsogon with maximum winds up to 155 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 190 km/h while moving west at 20 km/h.

Tisoy is expected to make landfall over the Albay-Sorsogon area between Monday night and early Tuesday morning. As of today, the typhoon will leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday afternoon.
