Kumalat sa Facebook ang mga gawa-gawang news card at public advisory poster na nagsasabing magkakaroon ng general community quarantine (GCQ) sa Metro Manila at iba pang rehiyon ngayong Hunyo dahil sa pagdami ng kaso ng Mpox virus sa Pilipinas.
Several fabricated and recycled news cards and public advisory posters have circulated on Facebook, falsely claiming that a general community quarantine (GCQ) could be imposed across Metro Manila and other regions within the month of June due to increasing cases of Mpox virus infections in the Philippines.
Abeyasinghe said the WHO was hoping the Philippines would deploy 4,000 individuals.
“Our congratulations to Secretary Duque and my classmate in the Cabinet at ito po’y nagpapatunay na nagtitiwala po ang WHO sa kakayahan ni Secretary Duque,” Roque said in a virtual presser.
“Ang gusto ko lang hong iparating sa ating mga kababayan, unang-una, it’s okay not to be okay,” Vergeire said in a Palace briefing.
