The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised Alert Level 1 (Abnormal) over Taal Volcano, Mayon Volcano, Kanlaon Volcano, and Bulusan Volcano on Tuesday.
A total of 11 volcanic earthquakes in Taal Volcano has been recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in the past 24 hours, maintaining its alert level 1 status.
The Taal volcano eruption forced historical museums in the heritage town of Taal to evacuate their valuable artifacts to a nearby museum for safekeeping.
