SIM card sales declined due to SIM Card Registration law – DICT
Sales of SIM cards have decreased due to the implementation of the SIM Card Registration law.
All mobile SIM cards should be registered starting Dec. 27
Users with existing SIM cards have six months to register them or those will be deactivated. Deactivated SIMs have five days to register and get reactivated.
Senate ratifies SIM Registration Bill
The Senate ratified the bicameral conference committee report on the disagreeing provisions of the proposed SIM Registration Bill.
