Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque on Wednesday said he has “no regrets” over the deals entered into by the Philippine government with Pharmally Pharmaceuticals even though such deals are marred with irregularities.

Villegas condemns pandemic fund scam, calls on Catholics to ‘protest’
Former Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president Archbishop Socrates Villegas said he is “appalled by credible reports” of the “dishonesty, graft and malfeasance in scandalous proportions” while the country is being gripped by the Covid pandemic while encouraging Catholics to protest these acts “vocally and persistently” as possible.
FALSE: Duterte claims Gordon barred from holding Red Cross post
President Rodrigo on Sept. 22, 2021 claimed Sen. Richard Gordon could not be a senator and chairman of the Philippine Red Cross at the same time. The Supreme Court however had settled the matter of Gordon’s two positions way back in 2009.
