Various social media posts reused an old photo from the Davao City website to falsely show that the city government had immediately mobilized trucks of relief goods to help victims of Typhoon “Carina”-induced monsoon rains in Luzon.
Former columnist and Konsensya Dabaw spokesperson Maria Victoria “Mags” Maglana is joining the race for the 1st congressional district seat of Davao City against presidential son and incumbent Rep. Paolo Duterte and businessman Jamal Kanan.
“If the intention of removing me was to intimidate all those who remain loyal to former Speaker Cayetano, then they have miscalculated badly,” Villafuerte said.
In a Facebook post, Velasco asserted that the deal was “crystal clear”: Cayetano’s term would last 15 months and end on Sept. 30 and he would supposedly take over the speakership until June 2022.
“Siyempre suportado ng presidente ang kaniyang anak. At tama naman po iyong bill ‘no, dahil kinakailangan naman talagang itaas ang sahod ng mga nurses sa pampribadong hospital, ipantay man lang mga suweldo ng nurses sa mga pampublikong ospital,” Roque said in a Palace briefing.
