Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Guillermo Eleazar on Friday said checkpoints will remain in NCR Plus borders and non-essential travel in and out of the bubble is still prohibited.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is hoping that the existing general community quarantine (GCQ) bubble all over Metro Manila and four other nearby provinces will not be extended beyond its April 4 deadline.
The Department of Transportation (DoTr) said travelers from Metro Manila and all of the cities included within the ‘NCR Plus Bubble’ can rebook without charges for their trips that got canceled due to travel restrictions imposed to curb the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases.
