DOH Epidemiology Bureau Director Alethea De Guzman identified the cities with the sudden increase of Covid-19 cases as Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Navotas, Pasay, Pasig and Valenzuela.
Part of the inspection team were Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles who both checked the city’s cold storage facility and vaccination center at the Navotas Polytechnic College.
The government will open on June 15, 2020 the portion of the elevated toll road that will directly link Navotas City to the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and cut travel time from Manila to Quezon City.
Navotas will be placed under extreme enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from 5 a.m. of May 6 to 11:59 p.m. of May 15, Mayor Toby Tiangco announced in a Facebook post Sunday.
