Senator Jinggoy Estrada said he only raised the idea of banning foreign-made shows, such as Korean dramas, in the Philippines due to his frustration on the lack of support for local artists.
Unable to broadcast on free TV after being shuttered by the government, ABS-CBN will air prime-time drama “Ang Probinsyano” and other shows such as the K-drama series “The World of a Married Couple” on cable and satellite television starting June 13.
