Duterte and Trump agree to cooperate in fight vs Covid-19 pandemic
The US embassy in Manila confirmed that a phone call took place between Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and US President Donald Trump Sunday night.

President Duterte knows that even if he snubs the Las Vegas summit, it will not drastically affect security relations. The Philippines can enjoy support from Washington and its rivals. And he can proudly show he is a tough leader from a small country.
