“Patuloy naman po ang paghahanda [para sa face-to-face classes] bagama’t ang desisyon po ay talagang magiging desisyon pa rin ni presidente,” Palace spokesman Harry Roque told reporters.
Roque admitted that the system was still imperfect but expressed confidence the DepEd would address challenges in distance learning.
Learners with special education needs require face-to-face instruction but are vulnerable to the coronavirus disease. Parents and teachers have no choice but to make distance learning work.
Malacañang announced on Wednesday that enrollment of students in public schools will push through as scheduled on June 1.
