The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said seven areas in the country are still positive for paralytic shellfish poison or more commonly known as “red tide”
Two residents from the town of Barobo died due to shellfish poisoning, a day after BFAR-13 released a warning on the presence of red tide toxins in the area
The coastal waters of Panay and Negros Island remain safe from toxic red tide, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
