The national government will prioritize the vaccination of people in remote and far-flung areas under its fourth wave of the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” national vaccination drive this month, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
The third wave of the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan III” program has vaccinated more than 1.8 million people in the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) announced.
The first day of the second “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” program has inoculated a total of 953,624 vaccinated people, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
The goal of inoculating 7 million people in the next batch of Bayanihan, Bakunahan remains, even if the mass vaccination effort in some areas will be canceled due to a typhoon, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
