About 7,467 or 3.1% of the 240,297 individuals who received the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine have reported an adverse event following immunization (AEFI), according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Thursday.
Galvez said the World Health Organization, through its representative to the Philippines Dr. Rabindra Abeyasinghe, had recommended distributing all available doses to expedite the vaccination drive.
Should the shipment experience delays, the latest it could arrive would be early April, Galvez added.
Some 44 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines are expected from Covax.
