The Senate approved a total of P83 billion in its version of the general appropriations bill for the purchase, storage, and distribution of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines in 2021.
Lawmakers have promised to increase the set P2.5-billion budget of the Department of Health (DOH) for the procurement of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines as part of the proposed P4.5-trillion budget for 2021.
