The Supreme Court has suspended lawyer Larry Gadon for spewing profanities against journalist Raissa Robles in a viral video.
“The Supreme Court today ordered the preventive suspension of Atty. Lorenzo G. Gadon and for him to show cause why he should not be meted with the ultimate penalty of disbarment in connection with his viral video uttering profanities against journalist Raissa Robles,” the statement reads.
The SC Public Information Office said Gadon’s preventive suspension is effective immediately and will only end until the court lifts it.
The SC also asked Gadon to show cause why he should not be disbarred due to his viral video. He was given 10 days to file his defense.
Meanwhile, the SC also asked the Office of the Bar Confidant to submit an updated list of the pending administrative cases against Gadon within 10 days. Ronald Espartinez
