Samsung introduces new Galaxy Tab S7 line for ‘new normal’; new wireless earbuds, smartwatch revealed

As the world suddenly went almost 100 percent virtual and videoconferencing became the new norm, Samsung unpacked its new Galaxy Tab series, along with entertainment and health companions Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3, respectively.

Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+

The new iteration of Samsung’s Android-run tablets were introduced just before online classes in the country begin. The new Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ use the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset with S Pen and keyboard support.

Galaxy Tab S7 specs:

The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will be on sale starting Aug. 28 at P47,990 and P63, 990, respectively.

Galaxy ‘Beans’

Samsung also unveiled the new Galaxy Buds Live (why not “Galaxy Beans,” Samsung?), the company’s first wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation.

The bean-shaped earbuds have three microphones and up to 8 hours of use before needing a recharge.

The Buds Live will be released on Aug. 21 at P8,990.

Galaxy Watch 3

The new Galaxy Watch 3 is 14 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter than its predecessor, with a larger display.

  • -1GB RAM + 8GB ROM
  • -Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Light Sensor,
