Former Vice President Leni Robredo’s Bayanihan e-Konsulta is making a comeback under the Angat Buhay NGO.
Robredo said on Twitter that the number of volunteers had been overwhelming.
Initially, Robredo only called for 50 non-medical volunteers and 40 medical volunteers who will attend the teleconsultation platform remotely from their homes and on their own devices. About 1,100 signed up to join Bayanihan e-Konsulta’s revival.
“The spirit of volunteerism is alive and well,” she said.
She added that they will require more volunteers depending on the number of Bayanihan e-Konsulta requests.
Interested volunteers who want to be part of the non-medical group can sign up via bit.ly/ABekonsulta, while medical volunteers can join via bit.ly/ABekonsultadocs.
