Vice president and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo committed to build the Negros-Guimaras-Iloilo bridge if she wins the election, noting her “mettle” in delivering programs via her Angat Buhay initiative.
Robredo highlighted that she has a record of keeping her promises with the Angat Buhay program under the Office of the Vice President (OVP.)
“Kapag tayo po ay nabigyan ng pagkakataon, sisiguraduhin po natin na matutuloy na ang Negros-Guimaras-Iloilo bridge”, Robredo said.
“Pinag-aralan po iyan ng six years. Pero sisiguraduhin natin na matutuloy na siya kasi life-changing siya lalo na sa mga taga-Guimaras, ” she added.
The presidential aspirant won a landslide vice presidential win in Guimaras in 2016 with 56,249 votes, defeating all of her rivals, including this election’s frontliner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. Ronald Espartinez
