Malacañang on Friday dismissed an online survey that showed Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo as the top choice of Filipinos to be the country’s next president, saying its results were derived from “wishful thinking.”
Roque was reacting to a survey conducted by PiliPinas2022.ph, a “platform designed to gather and display data to serve as an active pulse online platform in Philippine politics for the upcoming 2022 elections.”
In second place was Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Trailing her were Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Sen. Grace Poe.
