Eighty-two percent of Filipinos deem the results of the 2022 elections accurate and credible, results of a Pulse Asia survey showed.

Of the 1,200 adult Filipinos who participated in the survey, 27 percent said they had “very big trust” while 55 percent said they had “big trust” with the election results.

Some 4.3 percent of the respondents had either small or no trust with the results.

The pollster also found that 89 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with the use of vote-counting machines (VCMs) in the 2022 elections, with only 4 percent dissatisfied.

Ninety-five percent of the respondents said using VCMs was easy, while 2 percent either found it difficult or had problems feeding their ballots to the machines.

“Almost every Filipino adult who report voting in the recent elections (95 percent) found it very easy/easy to use the…VCMs,” Pulse Asia said.

Eighty-nine percent of the respondents also wanted the Philippines to proceed with automated voting in the future.

The survey was conducted from June 24 to 27 and had a ±2.8 percent error margin. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
